EARTH DAY CELEBRATED LIKE NO OTHER
ArtBerkeley Hosts Earth Day Festival at War Memorial Park
On Saturday, April 18, 2009, ArtBerkeley Inc., a non-profit 501c3 organization, is hosting its inaugural Earth Day Festival from 10am to 4pm. War Memorial Park, located at 500 North Tennessee Avenue in Martinsburg WV, will be transformed into a true community celebration of our Earth. The festival is open to the public and is FREE; All kids activities are FREE; And many demonstrations and other events are FREE for adults too!
There will be regional business vendors, food vendors, artists, farmers, and many organizations in attendance. A highlight of the entertainment will be the Wildlife Center of Virginia's Animal Habitat Presentations with Live Animals. There will also be many recycling opportunities. The public is encouraged to bring the following items to reuse and recycle throughout the park:

We have a full schedule of entertainment throughout the day. Entertainment is for both adults and children of all ages. A schedule of events for the Main Stage area is as follows:

ArtBerkeley, Inc. to host First Annual EARTH DAY FESTIVAL
ArtBerkeley is pleased to announce the Earth Day Festival to be held at War Memorial Park, Martinsburg WV, on April 18, 2009 from 10am until 4pm.
An event for everyone!
ArtBerkeley is in need of:
· Artists
· Nonprofit organizations
· Businesses
· Food Vendors
· Farmers
This festival is free of charge to the public entering the park but artists, organizations, and farmers selling merchandise will be charged $15; businesses will be charged $20; and 501c3 non-profit organizations not selling merchandise will be free. Detailed information about space available, costs and other information can be found on the Earth Day Festival Entry Form on the ArtBerkeley website.
Notable activities that are scheduled are as follows:
· Live Entertainment throughout the day including a presentation by the Wildlife Center from Virginia and Martinsburg High School Women’s Choir
· Activities for families and children
· Exchange area for books, magazines, puzzles, and canvas bags
· Regional artists and artisans displaying their work
· Farmer’s Market
· Recycling on premises

ArtBerkeley, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit membership organization of artists based in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The mission of ArtBerkeley is to enhance the Arts Community in Berkeley County, West Virginia and the surrounding region by developing resources for artists of all disciplines, facilitating Arts exhibitions and events, encouraging Arts education, and promoting cooperation among all arts organizations in the region. ArtBerkeley includes individuals of all disciplines, from painters, sculptors, weavers, and artisans, to writers, poets, actors, musicians, and everything in between.
